Poole, BH14

Part-time Nanny position 14+ hours per week


This lovely family are seeking a professional Nanny to look after their son aged 3.5 years old. Call the Nanny has placed their previous Nanny who has highly recommended the family. Hours required are 3 afternoons per week 2-6pm. The family need Tuesday’s and can be flexible with the other 2 days worked. Ideally the Nanny would be available for full days on the same 3 days in the school holidays although this is not a deal breaker.

Duties will be a mixture of childcare and light housekeeping including doing the laundry, cooking and light tidying in the home. The Nanny will pick the little boy up from his local pre-school and take him home to give him dinner, play with him and follow the evening routine. An understating of home management and strong organisational skills is essential.

The ideal candidate will be reliable, caring, playful and organised. Must be a driver with own car and a full, clean driving licence. The Nanny will be given a mileage allowance for transportation of the child in their car. Applicants must hold a current clean DBS police check and paediatric first aid certificate with excellent checkable references. Interviews to be held ASAP.

Suggested salary: £15-18 gross per hour depending on qualifications and experience.
Working hours:
3 afternoons per week 2-6pm

Poole, BH14

Temporary Nanny required 2-4 days per week over the Easter holidays from 31st March – 18th April inclusive


This lovely family are seeking a professional Nanny to look after their son aged 3.5 years old over the Easter holidays. Call the Nanny has placed their previous Nanny who has highly recommended the family. The family would like a temporary nanny for 2-4 days per week over the Easter holidays from 9am-5pm and can be flexible of days worked although they would prefer a Monday’s, Tuesday’s, Thursday’s and Friday’s.

The Nanny will provide a stimulating, age appropriate day both inside and outside the home with lots of opportunities for outside play and trips to the beach/park/local activities. The Nanny will also be happy to help with laundry and cooking a healthy dinner for the child.

The ideal candidate will be reliable, caring, playful and organised. Must be a driver with own car and a full, clean driving licence. The Nanny will be given a mileage allowance for transportation of the child in their car. Applicants must hold a current clean DBS police check and paediatric first aid certificate with excellent checkable references. Interviews to be held ASAP.

Salary: Suggested salary of £16-18 gross per hour depending on qualifications and experience.
Working hours:

Burton, Christchurch, BH23

Permanent part-time Nanny position Monday to Friday 7.20am-12pm term-time only contract


An experienced Nanny is required to support a lovely family in Christchurch five mornings per week starting ASAP. Call the Nanny placed their previous Nanny who has recently relocated. Care is required for two girls aged 11 and 7 years old. This is a term-time only contract.

The 11 year old has mild autism therefore a Nanny with experience of this and who is able to provide routine and consistency is essential. The mother and the 11 year old child were involved in a Road Traffic Accident last year and sustained physical injuries. Both are now making good progress in their recovery, however the mother still has some physical limitations, therefore she is looking for some support around the house once the girls have been dropped to school. Daily duties will include duties such as helping with laundry, general tidying and organising, cooking meals, assisting with school admin and shopping/running errands.

The Nanny will arrive in the morning and support with getting the girls ready for school. She will help with breakfast and getting them dressed then drop them to their local school in Burton by car. After the school run the Nanny will return to the home to help the mother around the home/running errands until leaving at 12pm.

The ideal candidate will be kind, warm, friendly and supportive with a positive attitude. Although the children are the main priority, understanding home management is important. Must be a driver with a full, clean driving licence and use of own car. Must hold a current, clean DBS police check and paediatric first aid certificate with excellent checkable references.

Salary: Suggested rate of £18-20 gross per hour depending on qualifications and experience.

Charminster, Bournemouth, BH8

Part-time newborn Nanny position 24 hours per week over 4 days per week Contract length 12 months minimum


A professional Nanny is required to work 4 days per week for a friendly and welcoming family in Charminster, Bournemouth. This lovely role is to support a young mother in caring for her newborn who will be around 8 weeks old upon starting. The role will be a mixture of sole-charge and shared care, supporting the mother with her transition to becoming a young parent.

The ideal candidate will have newborn experience and will be able to advise on all aspects of feeding/weaning, sleep routines and changing/bathing the baby. The nanny will provide stimulating, age-appropriate activities for the baby both at home and in the local area, taking him/her to activities to encourage opportunities for learning and socialising with other children. The nanny should be sensitive to the mothers’ needs, involving her in the baby’s care where appropriate but also giving her time to rest where needed.

The family are looking to appoint someone with a kind, caring, friendly and cheery nature. The Nanny should be experienced and reliable/trustworthy. Whilst the baby naps the Nanny should be happy to lend a helping hand with the baby’s laundry, tidying the baby’s toys/bedroom and keeping the kitchen clean and tidy after use. Preparation of bottles and solids is also required.

Applicants must have a clean and up to date enhanced DBS and a paediatric first aid certificate. The Nanny must also be able to provide excellent, checkable references. The family are happy to consider a junior nanny if they have newborn experience.

Suggested salary: Negotiable depending on qualifications and experience.

Ad hoc babysitting/nanny work


Babysitters and nannies required for various bookings throughout Dorset and Hampshire. The bookings will take place either in families' homes, hotels or at event venues. Babysitters/nannies will receive £12-16 per hour with a minimum booking time of 3 hours.

Candidates are required to hold professional childcare experience, excellent references, a current DBS police check, a current paediatric first aid certificate and clean driving licence.
