Call the Nanny offers a high quality babysitting service throughout Dorset. We have a network of childcare professionals that will come to your home or holiday accommodation to care for your children in the evening. Whether you are looking for a regular babysitter, last minute booking or a planned event, Call the Nanny has babysitters to suit all occasions.
All of our babysitters have a minimum of two years’ solid childcare experience and/or are fully qualified. The majority of our babysitters work in childcare during the day. They have been personally interviewed and vetted by the agency, including two reference checks. They all have a current first aid certificate and are DBS (criminal record) checked. We pride ourselves on completing thorough checks, giving you peace of mind so that you can enjoy your evening out, knowing that your children are safe and cared for.
Need a night out or last minute babysitter?
If you are looking for a last minute babysitter or just the odd night out, the agency charges a one off payment of £10 per booking. The minimum booking length is 3 hours and the babysitter should be paid directly at the end of the evening. For repeat bookings, we aim to offer the same babysitter every time so that your children have continuity.
The following rates apply for evening babysits in the family home:
£10.50-13 per hour, increasing to £11-14 per hour after midnight (rate depends on the babysitter's qualifications and experience).
We offer multiple babysitter bookings for families/friends looking to have all of their children cared for together, or for special events such as weddings or parties. Please contact us for more information regarding event nannies.
If you wish to re-book the babysitter, this must be done directly through the agency. Our babysitters are not permitted to receive repeat bookings.
Regular babysitting service
For those parents that want to use the babysitting service on a regular basis, we charge a £150 agency booking fee for the year. Once you have told us your individual requirements, we will introduce you to one of our babysitters from our database who live locally to you. We will send you their CV to look through and once you are happy with your choice we will provide you with their contact details so that you can arrange to meet them and book them as and when you wish. You can use your babysitter on a regular basis as much or as little as you want. If for some reason your babysitter is not available we will try and find you a replacement. Please be aware that we cannot guarantee the same babysitter on every occasion.
