The agency is part of the Association of Nanny Agencies (ANA). ANA exists to raise standards in the way that Nanny Agencies work. When registering with Call the Nanny, families can be assured that all applicants have been met and interviewed in person, that they have a DBS check and that all applicants’ references have been verified. We encourage our nannies to either be qualified, be Ofsted registered, and as a minimum have Paediatric First Aid Training. As an ANA member we are kept up to date with industry legislation, and our work is legally compliant.

Meet the team
Claire Boland
Agency owner and manager I have 16 years’ childcare experience working as a nanny, midwife and nursery nurse. As a mother of two young children myself, I understand how important it is to find that special person who will care for your family. I aim to support you in this process and make it as stress free as possible. This will enable you to go back to work or have some time out knowing that your children are happy and safe in the hands of a qualified, trustworthy and loyal nanny.
Over the years I have worked as a private nanny for many families and have thoroughly enjoyed looking after children of varying ages, watching them grow and develop. I have worked closely with newborns, providing hands on support and advice to new mothers. I also have experience working alongside children with special needs, assisting them with their personal care and supporting them in their learning in order to increase their independence.
My ambition has long been to open a nanny agency to help families and nannies find their ideal match. Since giving birth to my first child in 2014, I have strived to make this dream come true and have founded ‘Call the Nanny’. My main aim is to ensure that nannies meet each family’s individual requirements. I do this by taking time to listen to both families and nannies to find out exactly what their requirements are. Once a nanny is placed, I provide ongoing support including employment advice and induction support. I uphold strong values and ensure that I am providing a professional, yet personal service.
